A FUND RAISING EVENT FOR THE CHILDRENS CHARITY

Jack the Bike Man needs about 600 small bicycles for Santa. During the process of obtaining the small bicycles, we receive several hundred much larger bicycles. In the past all of them large and small were rebuilt and given away. With the economical climate here at this time, we must do new things to raise money for the children’s bicycle Christmas project.
We have opened a small used bicycle shop at 4401 Broadway (US 1 North) in West Palm Beach. This small shop will be open Wednesday through Saturday from 10 am till 6 pm. and Sunday from noon till 4 pm.
We will sell used reconditioned bicycles for as little as $25.00 up to as much as $200.00 for the antique collectable ones. The price will be determined by the condition when we receive them and the amount of parts and work needed. We also will be selling used patched tubes from $2.00 and used tires for as little as $5.00. We have made arrangements with a distributor of bicycle parts and accessories to be able to buy from them in order to sell safety equipment like locks, chains, reflectors, lights and helmets.
All of the profit will be deposited into the bank for the Children’s Christmas Project.
Hopefully this will help us continue in these hard financial times.
We need volunteers to help man the shop and for minor repairs.
Tentative Grand Opening event will be on September 10th 2008 at 10:00 am at the small store. Watch for more information and come see us at work.
